It is written to describe our current practices clearly for users who may access the service from Canada, Québec, the United States, the European Union, France, and other regions, without claiming legal certifications or compliance statuses that are not expressly stated here.

Effective date: May 5, 2026

3. Why we use personal information

We use personal information to deliver the service you request, authenticate users, maintain accounts, process one-time payments, confirm entitlements, answer support requests, investigate technical issues, improve the product experience, protect the service against misuse, and meet legal obligations.

Depending on the context, our legal basis may include consent, the performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and compliance with applicable law.

4. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for authentication, security, and core site functionality. We may also use analytics to understand how RankSpires is used, including page views, CTA engagement, signup flow, checkout milestones, and generation milestones, so we can improve the service. If we use cookies or similar technologies that require consent in your region, we will request consent where required.

5. Processors and service providers

We use carefully selected processors and service providers to operate RankSpires. These providers may include hosting infrastructure, authentication services, payment processors such as PayPal, analytics services, storage systems, and operational support vendors. We may also share information when required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect the service or our users, or in connection with fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or a business transfer. Providers and recipients are expected to process data only for authorized purposes and under appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, entitlement verification, security monitoring, customer support, refund handling, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by data category. For example, transaction records and entitlement history may be retained longer than analytics event data because they are needed to verify paid access and respond to disputes. When possible, we delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed, while keeping information that must be retained for accounting, payment processing, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations.

7. International transfers and safeguards

Some service providers may process or store information outside Quebec or Canada. Where that happens, personal information may become subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. RankSpires uses contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information appropriately during cross-border processing.

8. Security and incident handling

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, environment separation, structured logging, abuse monitoring, and entitlement validation.

If a privacy or security incident creates a real risk of significant harm where notification is legally required, we will investigate, contain the issue, document it internally, and notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, the United States, the European Union, France, or other regions with privacy protections, you may have rights to access personal information, request correction, request deletion, request portability where applicable, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, ask how automated tools affect you, and file a complaint with a privacy authority.

You may request the deletion of your RankSpires account or personal data at any time by contacting us at support@rankspires.com. For security reasons, we may need to verify your identity before processing the request. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe and, where applicable, within one month as required by applicable data protection laws. When possible, we will delete or anonymize personal account data and generated content linked to your account. However, some information may need to be retained when required by law, accounting, payment processing, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution obligations. Deleting your account may permanently remove access to your saved generations, account history, and active access rights.

10. Marketing emails

We will only send marketing emails where permitted by law. Marketing emails will include a way to unsubscribe. Service and transactional emails related to account access, purchases, security, support, and entitlement updates may still be sent when necessary to operate RankSpires.

11. Children’s privacy

RankSpires is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and remove the information where appropriate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our service, legal obligations, processors, analytics practices, or security approach change. When we make material updates, we will revise the effective date on this page and may provide an additional notice on the website or inside the product when appropriate.
